Physical Fitness Assessment (PFA). All cadets are expected to meet height and weight standards and pass a PFA every semester. The PFA consists of four events and a body composition component. The events are sit-ups, push-ups, and a 1.5 mile timed run. Points are awarded for performance during each event. A maximum of 100 points can be earned. A passing score is anything above 75 points earned. The body composition component is a Body Mass Index calculation. Physical Training (PT). Cadets are required to attend two PT sessions per week. The PT schedule for a typical semester is shown in the "What is AFROTC" tab of this website.
